Help us help them

Our Mission
SNAP exists to improve the lives of young people with additional and complex support needs by providing social experiences, building self-esteem, and encouraging independence.
We provide opportunities for making friends and socialising supported by our caring and experienced staff and volunteer team
-
Founded in 1996 initially as a parent support group, SNAP has grown over the years with the needs of our children, young people and families.
-
SNAP has Scottish Charitable status and is governed by a board of trustees comprising of a team of professionals and parents who all give their time voluntarily.
-
SNAP now employ over 30 staff and have a dedicated team of volunteers.
- From our support centre at Drummond School, we are able to offer a wide variety of services to our local community.
-
SNAP currently supports over 140 children and young people.
-
We run a number of clubs and activities. We have services for ages 4-40+. This means we support children, young people and adults.
-
Our activities provide a place and time for fun, trying out new and popular activities, as well as simple socialisation opportunities whilst giving parents, carers and siblings respite from their caring roles.
